Background:

For this week's infographic assignment, I wanted to create a design that was centered around the continued trend of smartphone users globally. I also wanted to try and keep the text to a minimum while working with graphics that can help convey the overall message.

Contrast:

Using a teal background helped all of the sections stand out with the use of the white copy and some contrasting color variations throughout the design.

Repetition:

A major theme throughout the design is breaking each stat into five different sections with a text subheader that is centered above the graphic as well as the nodes that break off from the mainline.

​

Alignment:

To help keep the user's attention moving from section to section, everything in the design is center-aligned that follows a visual line throughout the center of the design.

​

Proximity:

Each major stat is broken up into its own section with the correlating graphic to help pair the two together throughout the sections.
